Who is a better pick? Palin or Biden? Personally, I like the fact that Palin went against her fellow republicans and busted them for corruption.

Who do you like out of the two?

  1. Are you kidding me? Palin or Biden? Yeah ex beauty contestant, soccer mom that has been governor of ALASKA for two years (population 10!) or Biden who has been a senator since 1973?! Ummm let me think a bit about that one! *rolling eyes*

  2. Define best.

From a strategic standpoint, McCain's choice of Palin did somewhat beat Obama's choice.  Obama did a fantastic job of choosing someone with the long-time experience that he lacks, however, McCain;s choice not only courts the even harder line conservatives, women within his own party who might have been tempted to vote for Hillary, women who might be upset over Hillary's loss.

However, if by best you mean, which would run the country better, if the President popped a rivet, than definitely Biden is the better pick.  The idea that Palin can' recognize solid science when she hears it, the idea that Palin wants to decide what happens to my body, and the fact that she has so much less experience (and I'm sorry, being a mayor of a town for a bit is NOT preparation for the national stage) makes her a fantastically bad choice to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency!

    Rock on Obama!

  3. Palin.

  4. hands down Palin

  5. Palin. She has been a mayor and governor. She hates wasteful spending. She sent the money for the bridge to nowhere back to congress.

Biden he has been in washington for 35 years. And supported the supported the bankruptcy reform act, that has caused some of this credit crisis and the housing crisis.

  6. I like Biden. I have heard him speak in the senate for awhile now on cspan and think that he's a really great guy who knows what he's talking about. Besides that, out of all the senators, he has been in the senate for the 4th longest amount of time even though he's something like the 40th oldest, which shuts up people who criticize Obama's experience. He is also an expert on foreign affairs and heads the committee for it in the senate. Besides that he and Obama are old pals and get along together well.

It seems like Palin is a good pick, being a more moderate progressive conservative who stopped the bridge to nowhere that McCain so heavily criticized. She also may be able to pick off some woman voters because Obama didn't make Hillary his VP, but I think it was a bit too obvious a move and may actually offend some woman.

Over all I would say Biden because he has less negatives and less contradictions with the Obama campaigns messages than Palin. John McCain has been focusing on his opponents lack of experience, yet his vp Palin is not very experienced at all. They also have hardly ever spoken, which makes it seem like he just picked her because she was a woman and not for her credentials, even though I have heard she really is a good republican who has actually made enemies with the really hardliner neoconservatives for not attacking g**s, etc...

  7. Biden for sure! He has more than 30 years of experience. Palin has ZERO experience.

  8. Palin for President!! She has my vote!

  9. Palin----I just love this wonderful lady-----she is a breath of fresh air to America.

(BTW)----neither McCain --OR--Palin were ever lawyers!!!

  10. Palin is the better pick.  An 80% approval rate in politics is amazing.

  11. You're not supposed to like Palin.  The media has plans to reprogram your free thinking.  Obama is the one who shall be liked, praised, applauded, and worshiped.

  12. Palin and the Republicans will WIN !

  13. Two senators is a bad pick, especially since one of them has so little legislative experience and no administrative experience.

  14. Biden ofcourse b/c he is behind OBAMA!

  15. Funny thing is McCain is gonna take over Obama's campaign of "Change"...I guess its good that he brought in someone that isn't a Washington insider...but to be honest im still confused by the decision...i thought he could have picked better candidates.

  16. Palin for sure. She has more executive experience than Obama, and isn't a "Washington insider" unlike Biden.

  17. biden he has more experience in washington

  18. Palin.........she has character........
