Who is a moderator in yahoo group?

every group has a moderator.  when a group is founded the founder is a moderator.  they in turn can appoint others.  Moderators ensure the group is runing smoothly.

to find out who they are, the members list has to be available to members. if it is, click members left column of group- then click top tab moderators.

otherwise, the defalt group owner address is locate at the bottom front page of the group
