Question:

Who is allowed to criticize?

This writer, yes, he is a "scientist", has an excellent point. The AGW fanatics like to dismiss opposing theories based on the notion that the author is not a "real climatologist". However, I have NEVER heard any complaint corresponding to "non-climatologist' offering an opinion which agrees with them.

  1. That's because the non-climatologists' opinions tend to align with scientific research, so there's not really any need to complain, is there?

  2. if he had a valid point or argument he would have the right to criticize but he dose not. all he has are emotive arguments and and flawed data.

  3. "Understand, though, that the public-comment restriction must, by logic, go both ways. If you are not allowed to offer negative commentary because you are not a climatologist, then you are not allowed to offer positive reviews either. ...

The current state of debate says much about the desires of those who praise positive comments but denigrate the people who offer negative comments. ...

Since this is the case, I propose a cessation of all Internet commentary, one way or the other, until the Approved List of true climatologists has been compiled."

Boy, does that sound familiar. Since the AGW believers on here never criticize the other believers on here that don't give intelligent answers, or who just  answer with silly things like, Oh watch the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" etc etc.

But us Skeptics get criticized for almost everything we write in our answers or bring up as a valid argument.

  4. well, it's no different than people that dismiss the climatologists findings cause they think they're "liberals"

like i said before 400 scientists are all wrong because they proved that man is causing global warming, but the 1 scientist that disagrees is right
