Who is always giving thumbs down and reporting us??

Question

Has anyone else noticed that there is someone that is always giving thumbs down, for no reason? I wonder if it is the same person that reported a few peoples questions. Any ideas or thoughts??

I certainly don't understand any of this...I haven't been doing this long and when I first started giving the answers I got some thumbs down....that kind of hurt....then I noticed that other people were getting them and they had the right answer....I thought you could only report someone if they were using bad language....anyway I don't think people should give any thumbs down...if you don't like what they say then move on

Hey Girl,  As everyone's answer before me, I'm clueless also.  However, I did pass out thumbs up to everybody today, to counteract the ignorance of one low-life!  Let's just try to hang in there, y'all.  Maybe He/She will eventually grow-up, and simply go away.

Is there not someone @ Y/A who could fix this to make it not so anonymous?? TD are for ruse mean answers or bad language or innuendo only!!!!!!! They should grow up!!

Hello, it is not me giving the thumbs down or reporting anybody, I'm new to this site of only a couple months and find it very helpful in getting answers, and people being very helpful, so I have no reason to report any one, there may have been a couple thumbs down, but not on the trivia/radio questions, these are the questions I come to first.

As a matter fact, I've had a few of my answers reported for no apparent reason..........I don't remember who it was, but I wonder if it's the same person...............

There is no way to find out who, because everyone will deny.  I never give a thumbs down unless someone is mean or just silly...I also notice when thumbs down are given for no reason and click a thumbs up to counteract.  I only answered this one because etiegs2 has been helpful on radio trivia for me...always helpful/friendly and kind to all...and I will always vote a thumbs up for etiegs.

Yes,  I believe I know who it is. Not going to mention any names here because I'm one of her first targets. Just keep your eyes open you'll figure out who it is!!! I've had answers deleted because of her. She has a few yahoo account's.

I wish there was something we could do about it, too bad it doesn't show who gives thumbs up and down, only the Interesting.

Fortunately, I only have had a couple of questions/answers dropped, but I'm sure that will change.

Wish I knew also?  I try and never do thumbs down, only if they are stupid and say I don't have any idea the answer. Why even try and get points for that. I have not had a question reported lately?  All we are trying to do is help each other out finding answers, and once in awhile saying hi to each other. It makes my day seeing everyone that has stopped by any of my questions.

I can't imagine why anyone would do this.  I am fairly new to this, so I didn't really pay attention to the thumbs up or down.  I thought those were for reporting  inappropriate  language, etc. So I don't know what happens if someone gets "thumbs down".

I truly appreciate this link to us99 trivia because its hard for me to listen to the radio to get some of the answers.

It's a shame that whoever it is - doesn't have something better to do with their time.

I don't have a clue but I have been noticing it too!! It seems to stop once and awhile but then it starts back up....I get thumbs down a lot too and have been reported!! THEY DO NEED A LIFE!!!

Well whoever the t**d is he/she is or has been here look at all of our thumbs down.....

I too have had a few thumbs down. Don't know why either,  Have no idea who this person is, but I want to say they might be jealous because they aren't the first to post either the question or have the answers.

That's just my opinion.

OK so it's been 3 hours since I posted my comments.  Just came back to see what others had to say and found that just about everyone who left messages before me got the thumbs down.....  what's up with this idiot?? This forum has given us a lot of points and has made it far more easier. It use to take me a couple of hours to find the answers..

It looks to me that they target and thumbs down the TOP CONTRIBUTORS.

I HAVE WONDERED ABOUT THIS TOO, I AM PROBABLY A LITTLE OLDER THAN MOST OF YOU, SO MY BRAIN IS THINKING IT IS SOMEONE 10 OR 11 YRS OLD JUST BEING A PEST. I HAVE HAD THUMBS-DOWN ON SOME PRETTY GOOD ANSWERS, AT LEAST I THOUGHT THEY WERE.

I sure wish I knew.  I got a violation notice this morning too.  I haven't had one since February, so I guess I'm luckier than most.  But it is getting old going into a question and seeing everyone having thumbs down.  It just goes to show their (the person giving td) ignorance.  They must lead sad lives just following us around and trying to ruin our fun.  They should just know that Karma sucks.

Yup, I've noticed it too, and had questions and answers deleted after months of successful answers.  It's sad, it's caused me to limit my contacts and reduce some of my answers, which kind of goes against the purpose of the site.  I had an answer violation for giving the correct answer and wishing another answerer well - sheesh!
