  1. Watch the movie "The Other Boleyn Girl" with Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, and Eric Bana.

It wasn't quite like the series "The Tudors" but it was pretty good. I believe it'll answer some of your questions about who she was.

  2. i think you maybe referring to Anne Boleyn, she was the second wife to King Henry the Seventh (his first queen was Queen Catharine of Aragon)  i believe. bore him a daughter and due to lack of a son for that terrible henry guy, he chopped her head off after accusing her of having an affair with her brother (which is most likely untrue) and continued on in his quest for a queen that would bear him a son...etc.  hope i helped. good luck!

  3. In a nutshell, Anne Boleyn was Henry VIII's second wife, whom he beheaded after she failed to bear him a son.  She was also the mother of Elizabeth I.

Anne Boleyn (c. 1507-1536)  "Queen consort of Henry VIII, mother of Elizabeth I.  A lady of honor to Henry's first queen, Catherine of Aragon, Anne soon attracted the attention of the king, to whom she was secretly married in January 1533.  Some months later, Henry's first marriage was declared invalid, and Anne was crowned queen.  After the disappointing birth of a daughter the future Queen Elizabeth, a miscarriage and a stillborn son, Anne lost favor with Henry.  In 1536 she was made to stand trial for adultery, was condemned, along with five men accused of being her lovers, and executed."

    Benet's Reader's Encyclopedia.  3rd ed. New York: Harper & Row, 1987 (p. 111).

---Henry VIII broke with the Roman Catholic Church because Pope Clement VII wouldn't grant an annulment to Henry's marriage to Katherine, so the marriage of Anne Boleyn to Henry VIII marked the official beginning of the Protestant Reformation in England.

---Anne Boleyn was also the younger sister of Mary Boleyn, who was Henry VIII's mistress while she was married to Sir William Carey before he discovered the younger Anne.  Anne, however, withheld her favors until Henry fell in love with her.

  5. Second wife to King Henry the seventh.& Homewrecker.

  6. Anne Boleyn was the second wife of King Henry VIII.  She was the mother of Elizabeth, who later became Queen Elizabeth I.

Anne Boleyn was tried for treason and executed in 1536.  She was accused of having committed adultery with a number of men, including her own brother.  It is unlikely that there was any truth in the charges, but henry wanted to get rid of her, as by that time he had fallen in love with Jane Seymour, wife no.3.

  7. Anne Boleyn was the second wife of King Henry VIII.He started the Church of England and parted with the Catholic faith in order to divorce his first wife to marry Anne. Anne was the mother of Queen Elizabeth I.She was beheaded for "treason" but many really know that she was executed so Henry could marry wife number 3.

  9. Anne Boleyn was the second wife of Henry VIII and the mother of Queen Elizabeth I. She was educated in the ways of the court, but was not always the proper lady. She was a protestant and the victim of her ambitious family. She was a pawn in a game intended to give the Boleyn family great position and power. As the king's interest waned and turned to Jane Seymour, Anne found herself embroiled in a plot that painted her as an adultress, a traitor and guilty of incest with her own brother. There was no real evidence but she, George Boleyn and Mark Smeaton (a musician of common birth) were all found guilty and executed. Her father was stripped of his titles and died a broken  man two years later.
