Looks like the Eagles have done a better job than Carlton did last year.

Mick & Eddie are visiting the WCE to get the drum and low-down on the best ways to tank and get draft picks.

We at Collingwood are going to have to do that so that we are competitive in the coming years.

Ha! Whoever said W.C aren't tanking what happened today? W.C should have won this game against the bottom team! They are making it so obvious that that tanking is on the agenda! Those past wins were just accidents!

Yeah I think I came see "where you are coming from" and I agree with you and if they are tanking in any way well they are certainly not the first are they.   There have been some real blow outs in score-lines this season and I feel it is something the AFL should be extremely worried about.

I think the only answer is 2 Divisions with a relegation system which well into the future there just might be and I think that would stop tanking.

On the other hand maybe Melbourne were just too good on the day????

We'll be competing against Carlton and all their high draft picks in the future so gonna need all the high draft picks we can get, especially after they took our captain.

I'm really confused about this question but anyway.. we will get one of the two great W.A players going 1st & 2nd in the national draft. Tough question now, natinui or rich!! Also today our youngest 22 headed east that has gotta mean something it the loss.

Em la Gem Member  - i think he means, by carlton 'stealing' our captain, that it was wrong for them to purposely lose games, just so they can have one of the best players in the game... would you prefer 'take our captain'?!?!

They didn't TAKE your captain.  Your administrative purse holders were too tight to pay him what he's worth.  He got a better deal, plain and simple.  Blame your administrators for that one.

IMO, if any team deliberately 'tanks' the priority draft pick/s should be forfeited.  There's no excuse for it.  None whatsoever.  If you need to tank to secure top draft picks, you're a sh*t team anyway and need more than draft pick number 1 to help you.

The reality is that without players like Cousins and Judd, the WCE are nothing, and will continue to be for many years ahead unless your recruitment people get switched on quick smart.
