Who is benefitting from G8??

Question

I heard that G8 does not produce any benefit for the world, including members of G8.

Also, neoliberalism is a foundation of the G8, but neoliberalism only gives benefit for multinational companies by pushing foward FTA of regions and regions.

Also, I heard that poverty of Africa is originally the result of FTA.

I have little knowledge of economy, so I want to know about comprehensive concept of the G8.

Also, is it true that the reason that the USA started Iraq war is because U.S wanted to force market-opening of middle east??

Also, who is benefitting from G8????

G8 is where the heads of the top 7 economies plus Russia sit down and talk.

I'd have though that talking like that can only be a good thing.

I don't know about your claims of neoliberalism, whatever you mean by that. There are 8 there, and if they're not all neoliberals (and if they were one presumes that the people who elected them are) then the forum isn't neoliberal.

Poverty in Africa IMHO is the result of corruption and war. Free trade actually would benifit Africa because they would have access to more markets to sell their "stuff" and they could then make more money and lift themselves out of poverty. (I come from NZ, we sell food too so we're in a similar place though better off)

The US didn't start the war in Iraq, they just opened the long delayed second phase of the Gulf War - long delayed because Sadam had broken the cease fire which ended the GW long ago. It had nothing to do with trade, and much more to do with global security, about the tons of nuclear material that Saddam amassed.(See also Yellow Cake)

Suggest you spend less time reading the conspiracy theories, and more time looking for simple, open reasons that people might do things.
