i'd say both are equal..............

Both are good in their own way.Both are the seniors.Dravid helps at times of difficulties whereas Ganguly is always stable.

I think both are great players and have demonstrated this in both tests and ODIs over their vast careers. Dravid has been known as 'the wall' due to his solid defensive play giving the stand to many players and Ganguly has led India excellently as a captain and has some legendary innings, also since his comeback he has been one of the most consistent players. However, as of late Dravid seems to have lost some of that lustre that he used to have, hopefully it's just a small patch... an off season... and he'll be back to his usual form. But at the moment Ganguly is probably the better player as he is still playing well and is consistent. Also, if Ganguly can get going and get his eye in early he will murder the opposition bowlers!!!

he is the greatest of them all. really just look at the way he plays, I mean, he is a technician. a team man, very modest , a great gentleman,and so on, not that Gangu bhai isn't good, its just that I like RAHUL better.

Just look at the shots that he plays, he can adapt to any situation, Ganguly is agressive, and he cannot hold on to one end of the crease like Dravid and overall If I look I must say RAHUL IS THE GREATEST AND

This question has been asked many times before, and I think this question will forever be undecided-as who is the greater player between Ganguly and Dravid. Both are actually indispensable to the success of the Indian team, and both are special in their own ways. Ganguly is a far better captain than Dravid, is a better batsman in ODIs, and is an useful allrounder, who can sometime take the valuable wickets, by his crafty medium pace.  Dravid on the other hand, is more fit for tests, and can be useful as a susbstitute wicket keeper. Both are a perfect match to each other.

Personally, I prefer Sourav Ganguly, because of his agrresive temperament and leadership skills. He is the Bengal Tiger, and has been one of the toughest fighters if world cricket, and had made a glorious comeback, by his strong resolve. In short, The Wall is good, but  Dada simply Rocks.

Dravid is the best, simply because he has better technique and great composure than Ganguly. Dravid is a sacrificial for player who had even kept wickets for the team when it was required. So I would go for Dravid..
