Who is better, the Detroit Pistons or the New Orleans Hornets?

Detroit Pistons (I just love them and am I big fan of Prince, Billups, and Hamiliton.......and I like Maxiel and Stuckey)

Detroit is better because besides having a solid veteran team that has competed well for years (but is now getting old and will start slowing down), they also have what msot people fail to consider in their "zoo crew." Amir Johnson, Jason Maxiell, Arron Afflalo, and Rodney Stuckey (unfortunately they lost Jarvis Hayes but Cheik Samb may soon join the zoo crew) make one of the best benches around and they are all young and coming into their prime. However, I do predict a couple years of New Orleans being better than Detroit while the Pistons transition from their veterans to their young guns. But by the time, the zoo crew does come into its prime, the Hornets will be starting to look old. And that will slow them down with the possible exception of CP3 because he is just amazing.

the pistons have been better the last few years but they dont do great in the playoffs. the aging of the team showed this year.

In the future i would pick the hornets because they have a purpose, passion ,and age on their side.

I am surprised by the amount of people that answered that they think the Pistons are better than the Hornets.

Don't get me wrong, the Pistons are a great team, but if they went head to head in the NBA Finals, i would place my money on the Hornets.

Especially in this upcoming year, age is going to hit the Pistons hard in a negative sense, whereas age is going to help the Hornets vastly. Another year under CP3's belt is just going to makke him that much better than he already is! Couple that with David West also entering his prime, and you got some powerful young guns.

I am a hardcore Pistons fan but I would say Hornets. They have more future and Pistons are getting old but we're still the ****. We were the only team to beat Celtics in Boston in 2008 Playoffs and we had the second best record in NBA so yea we're still the **** but Hornets have younger guys and they are more  powerful.

In the last few years, I can say the Pistons. But with the way the direction the Hornets are going now, I think they will starting next season.. Chris Paul leading the Hornets is just so much fun to watch.
