Carlos De Leon, Sr. is a multi world champion who is considered to be one of the greatest cruiserweights of all time.  Carlos De Leon, Jr. is a lukewarm prospect who will never reach his dad's success.  De Leon, Jr. is coming off a good win over James, McGirt, Jr., but he was getting outboxed for that whole fight and was even knocked down before he knocked McGirt out in the 7th round.  De Leon, Jr. has also lost already twice to relative nobobies and he has shown that he has a questionable chin and he lacks in boxing ability, while the majority of De Leon, Sr.'s losses were in title fights to pretty good or even great fighters (Evander Holyfield).  De Leon, Jr. is already 28, which is relatively old for a boxing prospect, and I doubt that he will even be able to win a world title, let alone come close to how good his father was.
