Brodeur, for sure. Lundqvist is over-rated. Look at the length of those pads! As soon as he goes down, everything low is covered by the pads....where's the talent in that? Brodeur uses the smallest pads in the league and still puts up amazing numbers.

Brodeur he is the most consistant player in the nhl plus he has won like 4 or 5 vezinas allways makes the allstar team and brodeur doesn't play butterfly, stand up, pr hybrid he has creaated his own style

Rick DiPietro. No one has a longer contract and who else can get Carolina Hurricane fans to join together as one to chant his name for several minutes before ending the chant with a "you suck"? Sorry Brodeur and Lundqvist (Mr. four-consonants-in-a-row-so-you-can't-ro... can never pull up that kind of abhorrance in the RBC Center.

There is no question about it...Brodeur...

Granted Lundqvist has gotten better over the years but it still doesnt compare to what Brodeur has accomplished and will accomplish in the next few years.  The Devils really did not ice a great team the last two years and the sole reason they were at the top of the conference was because of Brodeur.  He is an over used workhorse that gives his all every single night.  If you look at some of the saves he makes its clear that he is the best.  I am reminded of the save against Philly on Brier when he reach back to grab the puck in mid air before it crossed the line...

when a goalie is one season away from breaking the all time wins record and the probably two away from breaking the all time shut out record it shows that he is the best....

He is getting older but somehow he keeps the Devils at the top of the conference every year.  He still has a few good years left so I would watch out....
