Of course Gio is way better no doubt about that.  Frank I believe your ignorance have betrayed your judgement because from all the Mexicans playing abroad, almost all of them have become emblems from their team.  The only one that I can say that was a complete failure is Jared Borgetti, but the rest are making history at their own respective team.  Just look at the list: Andres Guardado, Pavel Pardo, Carlos Salcido, Carlos Vela, Gio 2 Santos, Ricardo Osorio, now Omar Bravo & pretty soon you'll see Guillermo Ochoa in England
