Who is better at boxing, mexican or puerto rican boxers?

mexicans say they are better at boxing than puerto ricans, and the puerto ricans say its the other way around. i believe mexicans are better at boxing due to history i have seen at the sport, not because i am a mexican american. what do you think? just want to know from everyones perspective.

PR is pound for pound the most competitive because they're more passionate about the sport than any other country and they produce alot of good champs for it's size. However, Mexico is second to the US in the total number of champs. unfortunately the sport seems to be declining in popularity in Mexico and many of the champs arent even household names these days but there seems to be a resurgence now that Mexico has 5 boxers on the p4p list.

well im puerto rican and i am not biest for who is better but i beleive its a mix of both nationalities

MEXICANS: are best for coming forward and brawling(Chavez & Margarito

PUERTO RICANS: Are best for boxing and one hit KO's(Cotto & Trinidad)

so when it comes down to it , it dont matter what nationality you are, it's how you train. yeah and Puerto ricans also has a long history line from carlos ortiz to miguel cotto as well as mexicans from salvador sanchez to antonio margarito
