  1. BATMAN!

Superman uses brute force to win, but Batman has all sorts of cool gadgets, and he's smart! no superpowers, and he still get's the bad guy! ^^

  2. I think superman because batman doesn't have any super powers he is just plain old strong and in a rubber suit, unlike superman who has laser  vision  is abnormally strong and a couple more things his only weakness is kryptonite, unlike batman who can be killed with a bullet.

  3. Batman, He thinks his way through problems.  And he's got a contingency plan in case any other Hero goes rogue.  He can take them all down.

  4. superman, because superman can fly me any where in the world.

  5. Superman is a better hero because he is an inherently noble person who wants to help others,  while Batman is motivated by a desire for revenge.

  6. Batman is better because he doesn't need superpowers to beat his enemies. Batman even beat Superman in The Dark Knight Returns. Superman is a lil pansy because whenever somebody new shows up with powers better than his, he gets jealous and gets all emo about it. That's what happened when he first meet Captain Marvel and when the Green Lantern turned into Ion.

And when it comes to the Justice League, who is it everybody turns to when they get their butts kicked?...Batman.

Sure people say that Batman's villains dont have any superpowers, but who is Superman's greatest enemy...Lex Luthor, a human. Not just that, but the Joker has proven to be more than formidable against Superman.

Bottomline, Batman is the best because you can never underestimate him or count him out.

  7. batman. he doesn't have superpowers and he's still just as efficient a crimefighter, if not better. and he does it in gotham, which is full of LOTS more crime than metropolis.

batman is detective, superman is just a guy with superpowers.

    so batman for sure.

  8. if you say better? in what aspect? strength? intelligence?

anyway, for me, batman is better than superman because batman thinks every actions before he acts and look for possible outcome to achieve his goal...

  9. I have always felt batman is a better superhero than superman.Born with no superpowers he dedicates his life to save the poor and needy and to rid the city of crimes. Many say he is motivated by revenge. But at the age of 8 he saw his parents fall victim to crime and from there he vows to eliminate crime with all he got so that no 8 year old will suffer his same fate. He is motivated more than other heroes and relies on his cleverness, detective skills and cool gadgets.Always has a plan a strategy..he has ahealthy amount of paranoia and can beat superman anytime................

  10. I've said it before, I'll say it again.  Batman and Superman COMPLEMENT each other.  They do not one-up each other.

Batman literally descends from the Black Mask school of private eyes, like Philip Marlowe and Sam Spade.  There was even a masked detective in the pulps called The Bat.

Superman is more complex.  While presenting a sunny, positive view of science and technology, he's acknowledged (See Steranko History of Comics,Vol. I) to be based on the anti-hero of Philip Wylie's cynical novel Gladiator.  The older I get the less inclined I am to doubt his native intelligence, by the way. In fact, while I'm told Curt Swan redrew the Superman figure in the early Jack Kirby's Fourth World Comics (Superman's Pal Jimmy Olson), that character, who provides a moral center for our first look at the war between the New Gods and Apokalips seems much more orthodox as I get older than he did when I was looking at him for the first time.

It's not that he's smarter than Batman, or vice versa.  They are two very smart guys devoted to what's right and that's all they have in common.

So for many years they teamed up in World's Finest Comics, and that is in many ways the Superman and Batman I like to remember --- the one I used to studiously avoid reading.

They're both better than the comparison because they believe in cooperation.
