Who is better darrell waltrip or david pearson?

they both have has amazing carrers and are tied in 4th on the all time championship list with 3 under richard petty, dale earnhardt, and jeff gordon..

Very intresting.

Two different generation drivers,but overlapping.

Pearson was a speedway specialist.Very rare to see him on a short track.

  D.W. short and intermediate tracks were his thing.

Both could drive any car and could give a good show.

But I'd have to settle with D.W. as the overall better driver.

David Pearson!! I am not even from that era at all, but I can tell you David Pearson was better from just what my dad has told me, and watching the "back in the day" show.

David Pearson beacause he only ran six full cup seasons, and he still won 105 races an three championships, but DW did win 79 races in only ten years I think.
