I know Pena is on the DL now, but in the future is he a better player to have than Lowell in my 1B/3B slot?

  1. Not a chance. Lowell plays on the better team, meaning more run chances and rbi chances. Also, Pena had one good season. He will not repeat it. Even before Pena got injured he was not hitting well. Lowell was injured to start the season so his numbers appear worse than they really are. Lowell is an obvious pick in my opinion.

  2. going into the year I thought Pena would have a dropoff, but not this badly.  I think he's still a 30 homer guy who can get his avg back to 250, but the thing is he has a finger injury right now, a fracture i believe, and those things might linger.  My advice, don't use him when he gets off the DL until he shows he can grip the bat well and hit

  3. NOO  pena had a fluke year last year. and this year he did nothing special.  future??? how long?? this year and next 2 Lowell>Pena

  4. RBI's come with Lowel cause of the Red sox way of playing. But RBI's and HR's come with Pena. Last year wasnt a fluke because he had done well this year in those categorious before landing on the DL. Along with being previously ranked by baseball america in his younger days.
