Who is better gnomes or trolls..........??????

If the choice is just between the two, then it would be the gnomes. Gnomes are small creatures that live underground. Traditionally aloof to humans they could be friends however. Trolls on the other hand are big creatures that are listed under dark beings. You cannot have a troll as a friend. Trolls frolic only at night as the sunlight will turn them into stone

Everyone was afraid of trolls, and they were thought to be horribly ugly.  Also, they could not abide sunlight, as it would turn them to stone.  They were purely dark creatures of the night.

Gnomes, on the other hand, are friendly to humans, and are useful in many tasks.  They hold great knowledge of minerals and various parts of nature and are helpful with gardening.  I gnome can be a great friend to you, though you may found you've lost quite a bit of time in talking to him.
