Who is better out of Las Vegas or Hollywood?

Hollywood does do things for tourists. But much of what the entertainment industry does there is closed to the public much like an office building is. They have a business to run.

Las Vegas is all about the tourist. They want you to be entertained and they want you to leave happy and wanting more.

Las Vegas.  There is a lot more to do in Vegas than there is in Hollywood.  Sure, Hollywood has the movie studios but you can only see parts of them on the tours.  Once you've been through the tour of the studio that's about it.  There are shops but they are really expensive.  The shopping is better in Vegas. They have expensive shops too, but they also have more reasonably priced stores as well.  Then there is gambling which you can't do leagally in Hollywood.  I don't gamble much, but I enjoy the other stuff that goes along with it like live concerts, fancy restaurants, elaborate hotels, tourist attractions, good deals on food and rooms etc.  There's a whole town outside the casino areas too with everything there is to do in a big city, yet the city isn't so big that you cant find your way around easily.  It doesn't take that long to get from one end of the city to the other but they've got just about anything you might need or want to buy or do here.
