Paul Pierce because T-Mac never gotten past the 1st round of playoffs. Paul Pierce did and lead his team to the Eastern Conference Finals in his early years. If T-Mac hasn't been injured for so many times then it would be a different story. Paul Pierce by far is the better player, he got a ring and a Finals MVP.

T-mac, he is awesome, Paul Pierce just has a better team. T-mac led his team to 20+ wins in a row(NBA record) without Yao Ming, Pierce can't ever top that. T-mac made history.

It is definitely beyond mind-boggling why T-Mac has never been able to get past the first round.

In terms of overall you'd have to go with T-Mac.  But off course Paul Pierce has a ring- and even before K.G. and Allen's arrival was able to get his team past the first round of the playoffs.

Definitely when healthy- T.Mac is better than Pierce.  Pierce can not carry a team the way T-Mac can.  But in a game 7 i'd have to go with Pierce.

I really don't know who's better but Pierce got a ring after all.  T-Mac still looking for his first playoff win.  Also Pierce without KG and Allen have been to Eastern Conference(basically got past first round of playoff).

I like T-Mac but when a guy just can't win a playoff series you start to question his greatness.  The same way that I would do for Kobe if he can not win another title.
