  1. Alexander Ovechkin will always be better than Sidney Crosby for three reasons.

Reason 1:  Ovechkin can take a hit and can dish a few nasty ones out too.  Crosby barely hits and cries after he gets in a big collision.

Reason 2:  Ovechkin is more of a playmaker than Crosby, he can turn pretty much any play into a goal or scoring opportunity through his speed and powerful shot.  Crosby is more of a passing playmaker, sets up the play but usually doesn't score.

Reason 3:  Ovechkin is fun to watch, he loves hockey and everything about the game, I don't see that same fire from Crosby.

  2. im better than both them.

  3. I am from Canada i played with Crosby he is a sick player so i would say CROSBY all the way

  4. Not taking anything away from Crosby; he is a phenomenal player. The last month of the season we saw just how dominant Ovechkin can be. He's much more disciplined and has a better grasp of both sides of the ice. He's much more physical.

  5. right now, Ovechkin is, but i think later on, Crosby will be better than Ovechkin, but i love the both!

  6. I'll say Ovechkin

  7. Mr Crosby is a better player who can lift his team to victory where as a great player like Mr Ovechkin can make your team better, he will mostly just lift his own stats. Crosby was mauled by the Wings, some fair, some not. But he skated on and really played well, he has to live down an earlier diving reputation to get calls from the refs. He will, Mr Crosby is still growing into a great all around player. Where as Mr Ovechkin is grown now, what you see is all you will get. Not that Mr Ovechkin is not a great player, he is. It's just that Mr Crosby is better.

  8. Crosby

  9. Honestly at this point, the dead horse that you are beating is better. It does not matter that this has been asked and re asked again, all that matters is that dead horse that is being beaten.

  10. This question is impossible to answer; for all you're going to be receiving are opinions.

Who can define "better" when it comes to comparing two hockey players? Do you base it off of play-making skills or passing skills? Do you base it off of who would risk injury to save the puck from going in the net or do you base it off of how many points they score in a season? See, it all really depends...

  11. Ovechkin is way better. He's a better goal scorer, bigger player, better hitter and he plays with more intensity and passion for the game.

I give Crosby the edge on passing/playmaking, but I'd much rather have Ovechkin on my team.
