in order, i would want ovechkin, pronger, lidstron, crosby honestly. Ovechkin is a rare 2 way player that has an astounding ability to score while able to make beautiful passes as well. Not to mention he delivers some great checks. Pronger is a great defenseman, and I prefer defensive defenseman to offensive, as I would prefer to make players think twice about sticking their heads down to look for pucks in corners with a 6&#039;6&quot; and strong defenseman. Lidstrom is a great defenseman too, and his ability to score is up there with the great defenseman of the past. Crosby, though a great player too as far as scoring is concerned, would be a great player for any team to have too. I just think the fact that Crosby has played with Lemieux, Gonchar, Malkin, Hossa, and others plays a small factor into his great playmaking skills while Ovechkin has played with players not nearly as good. Though Backstrom is a great passer and Mike Green is a great offensive defenseman, Ovechkin proved before those players were prominent in the Capitals organization that he could play well without them.
