Who is better the older maruez or the younger marquez?

They're both great.  But the older -- JMM -- is better than the younger - Rafael.  That has always been the case.  Their trainer Nacho Beristain stopped allowing them to spar together early on, because Rafael could not keep up with Juan Manuel.  Juan Manuel is one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world, and arguably the most technically skilled.

they are almost the same. they are just good enough to get your attention but not good enough to keep your attention. the older marquez had his chances but a bad management team screwed him. to real boxing fans, he is well known but if he was managed well he would be a household name to all.

Power, flow, rhythm - younger

They remind me a lot of the Klitschko brothers. The younger one LOOKS better, but the older one is tougher.

I really rate Rafael Marquez highly he has just run into a fighter who seems to have his number in Vasquez, i dont think anyone else can beat him in and about the division he is fighting. Juan Manuel Marquez is too a great fighter and would make my top ten pound for pound as would his brother but i just feel there is something lacking from Juans boxing that stops him from being truly great and i think that is the lack of top class punching power and the lack of a killer instinct, if he had these he would be an all round fighter that would be challenging for the No1 P4P spot with Floyd.
