Well this season freo is doing better ( when we verse each other ) but eagles have won more derbys and finals. But just cause freo is doing better this season doesnt mean they are better if you look at the overall you will find eagles are better =]

At the moment, the ladder says that Dockers are better. History says that Eagles have been far more successful and I suspect Eagles have a brighter future than Freo as Freo are going to have to go through yet another rebuilding phase after many retirements (and if Josh Carr & Jeff Farmer go that will add to it).

eagles for sure!!!!! theres no frickin doubt about it. eagles have won 3 premierships and been to 5 and have had two brownlow medals. The club is classy and full of pride. with classy players unlike freos ferals who pick fights naming one - jeff farmer!!!. the derbys are fremantles grandfinals..even they have said it lol.. the club is all about excuses for example harvey the coach is complaining that they have 16 players out!!!

omg like h**l...west coast don't complain the last 3 weeks they have had 24 players to choose from..complained once? h**l no.

so with our nearly packed trophy shelves to freos 1 throphy!!! ( the westen derby one)......now u decide who is better?

Asterix put it extreemely well - basically its eagles throughout the last 10 or so years, and this year fremantle.

But west coast have a much better future ahead as they have so many young players - second youngest list in the afl! some of their young players have played on the big forwards, defenders and midfielders within the competition and succeded immensely!

Fremantle's future is rhys palmer, garrick ibbotson and chris mayne - three players wont cut it, they need to start to add more younger players to the list.

Currently - to close to call, eagles have beaten 6th place adelaide by 50 points! and freo just lost to geelong by 1 point! Eagles list is looking stonger with the 2nd youngest AFL team! (will be the youngest at the end of the season).

Past - eagles have won 3 flags into 22 years... freo 0 in 14 years. The past Derby's are something like 19 eagles 9 freo.

Eagles I mean come on we might be bad this year but no where near as frustrating as the Dockers have been since they started in the comp I feel for their fans.
