  1. Firstly, I am glad because he needs to be brought back to the ground. Secondly, Henin did not retire because she was not in her prime she retired of some personal reasons stating family problems, and I have only heard Djokovic saying bad things about other players.

  2. Federer is no way past his prime. This is just ridiculous to even suggest, far less say out loud.

And no I am not depressed that Djokovic lost. In fact I could not be happier. All this trash talking he has being doing concerning Federer in recent weeks and the fact that he feels the need to mention every chance he gets that he is just as great as Federer and Nadal was becoming way overbearing. Maybe if he spent his time actually working to improve his game, he would not have had such a humiliating lost today.

And that's just it... for all those people who are like me, happy that he lost, we aren't happy because he simply lost. We are happy that he lost because of all the **** he has been talking lately. It sure does feel like sweet revenge.

For the record... yes Safin is a great player and has the ability to beat anyone when he wants to. However given his recent form and the results that he has had this year and years past, it is still a huge surprise that Djokovic lost this match and then lose it in straight sets.

I seem to remember a year ago at Wimbledon, in the third round, Safin and Federer played each other. Unlike this year, Safin was the 24th seed last year and a lot of people thought  this would have been a tough match for Roger. Needless to say Roger won the match in straight sets.

So it shows how terrible a defeat this was for Djokovic. He is the one who won a Grandslam this year, two Master Series title and has firmly cemented his position with the likes of Roger and Rafa, and yet it takes a guy like Safin, who has done nothing this year, to beat him easily.

  3. I couldn't be happier.  I find him to be the most annoying person in professional tennis (for both men & women).

  4. Not me...at least Nadal's second ranking is safe.

  5. He's been doing alot of trash talking lately but he needs to put more tournament titles where his mouth is.

  6. Not at all - I do think he has talent, but has let his ego get the better of him. Perhaps this will be a long-overdue wake up call. If he takes this opportunity to step back, regroup, reel his ego in and start really working on his fitness I think we'll see him begin to reach his real potential.

  7. It's a nightmare, I was not expecting this at all. I don'r know how I would make it through the day. lol...lol...lol

Djo is a good player, talks too much. He should be like nadal and have some respect.

  8. I AM!!! I would've loved to see Djokovic kick the snot out of Federer's fake preppy a** All these stupid haters know how lucky they are that Safin saved the old washed up Swiss Miss from a Djokovic beat down that's why they are jumping for joy that Djokovic lost. If they had any kind of faith in their boy they would've been just as sad as you and me that he's out and no Federer/Djokovic semis. Hopefully Safin can beat the Swiss Miss I highly doubt he'd make it that far but it would be nice.

  9. No... and Federer is not past his prime.

  10. yeah i was deffinitley sad. Safin is a really tough 2nd round opponent if he has his A game on. Just like Nalbandian when he was on at the end of last year. They can be extremely dangerous players. Novak was deffinitley not there today and hey, players can't be perfect all the time. He will loose alot of points but now he can realize that he needs to watch what he says and he can get ready to kick butt on his favorite surface: HARD!! Yeah, i new it was going to be tough, i got out of salining class and i found out, i was SO sad!!

  11. Not me. He's been mouthing too much lately (saying that Federer is past his prime). Maybe he needed to fall back down to earth himself.

  12. Well, i'm not depressed, but it's beyond my expectation.. Instead of saying that djoko played bad, i'm gonna give credits to safin, the most unpredictable player.. he was very good in that match..

Btw, i'm not a fan of Federer, and i really don't want him to win wimbledon again.. but saying that he has past his prime is totally wrong.. I think you should learn from the mistake that your favorite player made... have some respect...

  13. I'm estatic as I am a Fed fan, but I feel sorry for you. I know how much it hurts when your fav player gets upset! trust me! It really really sucks. Just try and put it down to Safin bin amazing or something. These things happen.

At least people won't be saying his careers down the drain like they will if Rog loses.

EDIT: oh my gosh heres me trying 2 be nice and then u come out with federer is past his prime. well hes past the 2nd round which is further THAN NOVAK!

  14. I was shocked when i heard the news but when I know Safin's the one who beat him, I'm not surprised.  With Djokovic's gone, Federer really can "swing" into the final.

  15. Its never easy when your favourite player loses!!! Im not a fan of Novak but dont feel to bad, you`ll get over it soon.

Also Roger past it ? wtf are u talking about!!! You realise Federer is the best player in the world ?

  16. Nope.

Federer is not past his prime!

  17. Jeanne I am totally bummed.

Now I don't have anyone to laugh at anymore

d**n that Safin for beating Novak like a dawg and kicking his azs all over the court and making him look like a total looser. Should Novak consider retiring. I mean to loose in straight sets to really an unseeded player who dominated him. OMG what is happening to Serb tennis. It is going down the toilet. Or was Novak just afraid to face Federer and get beat bad by him. Fed must be pissed not to have a chance at getting revenge for the AO semi.

I wonder if the court jester shot his mouth off about Marat before the match... cause that would have been enough to motivate Marat to do that to him no doubt.

Oh and did you see how cute Novak was getting into a temper tantrum and swearing and making faces. Such a funny guy. Maybe someone will do an impersonation of him at Wimbledon. We can only hope.

What would be funnier is if Safina beat Jankovic in the semi and then Ivanovic in the Final but I doubt that either will make it that far for her to do that.

Novak Djokovic will never win another Grand Slam ever. He was lucky to have won the AO. That won't happen again.

  18. hahaha that's just sweet! where can i watch the match?
