  1. Im gonna say Ken Griffeey Jr.

wonderful swing, and he doesnt just hit homeruns

  2. Ty Cobb, the Georgia Peach.

Or Ted Williams, the Splendid Splinter.

Or Joltin' Joe Dimaggio (aka Mr. Mr. Coffee).

  3. Ted Williams or Ty Cobb.  They were hitting machines.

  4. Probably Ted Williams, though Ty Cobb and (Shoeless) Joe Jackson both had incredible career batting averages.  And, while unpopular, Barry Bonds was very discerning (lots of walks), and that's something steriods didn't help him with.

  5. Ted Williams is in a league of his own here.

  6. i think roberto clemente was. he always came up in the big games with key hits. he was also a amazing fielder.

  7. ted williams the kid.

  8. Most people would consider Ted Williams the best pure hitter ever.  Other votes would be for Ty Cobb.  I had the pleasure of seeing Barry Bonds play every home game for over 8 years, and he was without a doubt the only hitter able to change the game simply by stepping into the on deck circle.

  9. Ted Williams or Ty Cobb.

  10. Ted Williams.
