  2. How can we judge when the first 100 years or so we have no idea

    what these people sounded like. It is all very well to claim W.J.B. or

    Lincoln but seeing Coolidge was the first President to be heard by the entire nation it is very hard to tell. Also what we think is great orator

    now was probably rubbish in 1800 or 1900 and vice versa.

  4. I would say Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr..  He was certainly the most effective at inspiring others to implement his vision.
