so what is the jealousy about the bulldogs if it only a game.daffy is so jealous of the bulldogs sucess in the modern era and blame some of the supporters.but the majorities of the doggie fans are decent.there are some nrl teams went to the front page of the media paper on the wrong reasons.iot is not only the bulldogs.so those who whinged about the bulldogs are a real loser.if the bulldogs lose this friday nite .most of us will be happy because we are in the top 8 and second on the ladder.so we are the most sucessful team in modern era.so shut up you whinmgers.

  1. Im going to assume that Daffy is a Roosters supporters. If u have been watching league for a rival you can tell that the Bulldogs have a major rivalry with the Roosters, even denying them a premiership.

Anyway: GO THE BULLDOGS AND WEST TIGERS FOR PREMIERS NEXT YEAR

  2. I just want to be your friend

YES Roostermanforever it was awesome can the players get charged with murder for chocking themselves to death

  3. When does the "modern era" start?

How do you rate the most successful? Wins, win percentage, or appearances?

If it starts at 1998, when the NRL started, you have:

The bulldogs in 2 grand finals, 1 win, 1 loss

    1998 - Brisbane - Canterbury - Sydney Football Stadium - 38-12

    2004 - Canterbury - Sydney Roosters  - Telstra Stadium - 16-13

Brisbane in 2 grand finals, 2 wins, 0 losses

    1998 - Brisbane - Canterbury - Sydney Football Stadium - 38-12

    2000 - Brisbane - Sydney Roosters - Stadium Australia (Telstra Stadium) - 14-6

    Win percentage stats:

    Bulldogs 50%

    Brisbane 100%

If it starts at 1988, when most the last major expansin of the game happened (without counting Super

    League), you have:

The bulldogs in 6 grand finals, 3 wins, 3 losses

    1988 - Canterbury - Balmain (Tigers) - Sydney Football Stadium - 24-12

    1994 - Canberra - Canterbury - Sydney Football Stadium - 36-12

    1995 - Canterbury - Manly - Sydney Football Stadium - 17-4

    1998 - Brisbane - Canterbury - Sydney Football Stadium - 38-12

    2004 - Canterbury - Sydney Roosters  - Telstra Stadium - 16-13

Brisbane in 5 grand finals, 5 wins, 0 losses

    1992 - Brisbane - St. George - Sydney Football Stadium - 28-8

    1993 - Brisbane - St. George - Sydney Football Stadium - 14-6

    1997 - Brisbane - Cronulla - QEII (ANZ) Stadium Brisbane - 26-8 (Super League)

    1998 - Brisbane - Canterbury - Sydney Football Stadium - 38-12

    2000 - Brisbane - Sydney Roosters - Stadium Australia (Telstra Stadium) - 14-6

    Win percentage stats:

    Bulldogs 50%

    Brisbane 100%

If it starts at 1980, then you have:

The bulldogs have been in 9 grand finals, 6 wins, 3 losses

    1980 - Canterbury - Eastern Suburbs (Roosters) - Sydney Cricket Ground - 18-4

    1984 - Canterbury - Parramatta - Sydney Cricket Ground - 6-4

    1985 - Canterbury - St. George - Sydney Cricket Ground - 7-6

    1986 - Parramatta - Canterbury - Sydney Cricket Ground - 4-2

    1988 - Canterbury - Balmain (Tigers) - Sydney Football Stadium - 24-12

    1994 - Canberra - Canterbury - Sydney Football Stadium - 36-12

    1995 - Canterbury - Manly - Sydney Football Stadium - 17-4

    1998 - Brisbane - Canterbury - Sydney Football Stadium - 38-12

    2004 - Canterbury - Sydney Roosters  - Telstra Stadium - 16-13

As brisbane did not start until 1988, they have 5 wins, 0 losses

    1992 - Brisbane - St. George - Sydney Football Stadium - 28-8

    1993 - Brisbane - St. George - Sydney Football Stadium - 14-6

    1997 - Brisbane - Cronulla - QEII (ANZ) Stadium Brisbane - 26-8 (Super League)

    1998 - Brisbane - Canterbury - Sydney Football Stadium - 38-12

    2000 - Brisbane - Sydney Roosters - Stadium Australia (Telstra Stadium) - 14-6

    Win percentage stats:

    Bulldogs 66.6%

    Brisbane 100%

    In conclusion, if you believe;

    1. The "modern era" starts at or before 1980, only then do the bulldogs have more wins then other teams.  But, it does not include the newer teams, so it cannot be used for comparison; or

    2. The amount of grand final appearances is the true reflection, then the bulldogs win everytime, but this also is not a true reflection.  it does not matter how many times you get there, only how many times you win; or

    3. The "modern era" starts at 1988 or 1998, the bulldogs are not the most successful.  It is easy to see by stats that brisbane is the most successful.

To date, brisbane have not lost a grand final.

  4. not so successfull last night ,it was great to se them get their asses kicked,
