i'm really shock Maria lost she made so many errors and she was my pick to win as for Blake i also didn't expect him to go that soon, this year is the year of the UPSETS.

actually it is kinda exciting! lots of unexpeted winners and losers.

djokovic and sharapova lost in the early round is kinda surprise but i am not completely shocked. i knew safin is always a threat and you can never write him off. sharapova's game is really very one dimensional, if she has a bad day that her A-game not working, she doesn't have a plan B to fall back to.

blake is a little disappointing, but i wasn't expect him to go deep from the beginning.

as long as fed and nadal on track, i look forward to the final.

Blake and Djokovic and Roddick...couldn't care less, Sharapova, highly disapointed, i knew she wasn't gonna win Wimbledon, but i didn't expect an early exit either.

I'm sad that Djokovic and Sharapova lost, because I really thought they would be contenders this year, but I'm still looking forward to seeing how everything pans out.  I hope Nadal wins the men's title, and now that Sharapova is out, I'm rooting for Jankovic to win the women's title.  But it has been a shocking first week.

I'm gutted, I was hoping for some big, classic matches. You know, where top tenners play top tenners. Its rubbish, its just like RG all over again. I was so hoping for a Roddick Blake match, was hoping to see Sharapova play anotehr top tenner (sorry dunno whos draw she was in), looked forward to a Roddick Rafa final. Can't say I'm disapointed about Djok because I am too bigger Fed fan for that, but I can see that it sucks for tennis. I mean who are we supposed to get excited about now? Most of these players who upset people will just get beaten themselves next round. It really sucks I'm really dissapointed. Hopefully the US Open brings out some more classic matches.

I don't care about Djokovic or Blake, but I'm really disappointed that Sharapova and Roddick lost. At least Roddick put on a great match and losted to somebody that was good and respectable. Kudryavtseva was ranked 154 and made s****. comments after she won Sharapova.

I would've been disappointed had Ivanovic lost, am extremely disappointed about Blake losing, am apathetic about Sharapova losing, and am very happy that Djokovic lost.

LMAO I love the comment about Safin always being a threat. The many recent slams he's been in he hasn't made it past the second round.

But anyway, sports is all about upsets- thats what makes it exciting and what keeps the non-diehard fans intrigued.

I'm shocked about Sharapova and shocked about Djokovic only because it was straight sets. Safin still has a game and has my respect. I'm not surprised with Blake although I really wanted him to at least make it to the round of eight this year
