and what are you doing to keep yourself from going broke? gas prices are ridiculous, groceries cost a fortune, and my freaking appliances keep breaking and so i keep having to spend unexpected money! how do people live these days?!

Are you on a budget?  Do you have funds set aside in case of emergencies?  

You can't expect things to stay the same.  Things change, you need to be prepared for changes in the economy.  We were at the peak now we are going down (this is typical in any business/economy).  

To answer your initial question - mainly other countries trading with us benefit from the weakened dollar.

people live crazy these day because of the economy, don't spent to much b-cuz it will get worse. its effecting every body. at least we are in the same boat.
