Who is fav. to win the derby?

what horse is being talked about to win the kentucky derby?

After the BC Juvinile, Pyro and War Pass were the co favorites for the Derby.  After Pyro's last two, and War Pass' disappointing run in the Tampa Bay Derby, it appears as though Pyro will be the favorite, particularly if he wins the Bluegrass the way he's won his last two.  I think that War Pass should have been rated on the lead in his last, not rated behind horses.  It would be like trying to rate Ruffian or Seattle Slew behind horses.  They didn't have any problems with rating on the lead.  Here's hoping he does well in the Wood!

Pyro will be the favorite assuming that he doesn't totally flop in the Blue Grass.  He's my personal favorite, too. ;)  He's a good horse with a great kick at the end, and has overcome traffic in his last two starts to win.  I dunno, I just always love a horse that can overcome that and still pull off a win, it shows class.  

Denis of Cork is probably going to be a favorite, but we'll see how he runs in his next race (either the Wood Memorial or Illinois Derby, I'm not sure if it's been decided on for sure yet).  

Visionaire is also a favorite, he won the Gotham and will be going to the Wood next I believe.  

And War Pass was battling for the favorite title with Pyro for a while, but after War Pass' disapointing finish in the Tampa Bay most people have written him off.  It seems that he's a one-dimensional horse (has to be in the lead).  But who knows, maybe he just simply didn't like the track--that does happen a lot.  Or maybe after getting dirt kicked in his face once, he'll be able to handle it the next time???

Pyro will destroy the field with War Pass coming in a distant second.  It will remind you of our hero Barbaro and his great win at Churchill Downs.

Pyro is the number 1 choice for the Kentucky Derby. Since War Pass did not do so good in his last start his rankings have plummeted. Denis of Cork and Georgie Boy are being talked about alot. My favorites are Georgie Boy, War Pass, and Visionaire.

Pyro will be the morning line and post time favorite, especially if he runs well in the Blue Grass (and of course he will).  There's other horses with a good chance in the Derby who won't be the favorite including Georgie Boy, El Gato Malo, Visionaire, War Pass...  But Pyro definately is and will be the favorite.

I haven't given up on War Pass just yet. I also like Pyro's strong come from behind kick. Big Brown and Denis of Cork are some other horses getting a lot of Derby buzz lately.
