Who is finding the US Open crowd rather loud and rowdy?

I accept they are enjoying themselves and it's great Golf is getting a following but do we need crowds yelling 'In the hole' and cheering simply when the ball is hit hard and it veers way off the target.

Sounds more like a football match than a supportive Tournament of golf.

So long as they confine their shouts after the shot has been made, there is no problem. The fans have been sitting for quite a while and need some release of their emotions. The idiots who should exit the course are the photographers who always snap when the player is in the process of swinging. There should be one photographer and he should have the pictures in a pool for all media to use.
