If 'Big Al' Gores' green investment propaganda is correct about polar

melt-off...... . Then why is Americas' leading bastion of Liberal Ideology,

Naww Yawwk City, Investing so many hundreds of millions of dollars

in The Freedom Towers project.... as the whole plaza of new buildings and parks sit at and near sea-level !?!

America is the largest spewer of CO2 and The Freedom Towers project is an emotional and sentimental investment for the Americans. These concrete monstro-cities are high emitters of carbon. Still people are going on building concrete jungles in the name of development and through over-exploitation of natural resources without considering the fact that they are not infinite.  Mother earth will keep giving as much of natural resources like fossil fuel, coal and water but some day, she will raise both her hands and say - sorry children, no more milk with me to feed you and your generations to come.

Our children and grand children will curse us for our short sightedness and for failing to make an online correction to the fast degrading man made environmental problems.

We must stop "out of the box" living attitudes, respect nature and take care of it so that it can take care of our future.  We must do our little bit albeit at micro level to save the world. It is now or never.

the US is not the largest producer of CO2, China produces more.  The oceans will not rise that much if ice melts.  Even if the ice melts off green like it did in the 1100's to 1400's manhattan was not underwater.  The weight of the ice pushes Greenland down and it will rise up making room for the water from the ice.

The topic is called GLOBAL warming. Personally, I don't care what one person from one country, or even what one city in one country is doing as I do not see the relevance to the issue.

Although, if I try to see myself in the position of these people spending money maybe they are optimists and believe that the human race is capable of doing something about AGW such that sea levels won't rise (they don't have to, you know, they just will if everyone carries on not taking action).

So, to answer your main question, I would think that it is probably you.
