PLEASE LONDONERS! Paddington or Bayswater TO GET AN HOTEL?

Paddington or Bayswater TO GET AN HOTEL?

HELLO! I really don't know how zone to choose! We ( 2 ) need a central, cheap ( max £80/day/room ) and clean hotel in London. Looking for it on internet we found an hotel in each of these zones.

Are they safe zones? What about the nightlife? and the links with the centre ( also in the night ) ?

Which I have to choose?

hmm, i would say paddington, from my experience it's safer than bayswater.

I'm from west London...I like both areas....Paddington I think is more central...Bayswater is in west London...not central London....unlike Paddington which is in central London.

Go with Paddington.

Knightsbridge and Mayfair are also very good, lively, and nice.

im not from london, but have friends there and for 30 years weve visited and discovered this;

ANYWHERE in central london is expensive.. use the tube, and find somewhere at the end of a line. IE; Stanmore is 30 miles outside london, but it the terminus of the northern line.  (Junction 5 on the M1) its about 20 minutes to the centre of london... by tube and costs a few pounds... a day pass is about 5 quid and you can use the underground all day... and busses...

Im from London. Never heard of these hotels in my life. I think you should google it and check the star ratings that they have given it. good luck
