Not counting people like Gengis Khan, Napoleon, the Romans etc, I mean a person who killed for some pathological reasons, a specific number of people.

  1. You mean, the first guy who decided he would eliminate specific people from society?

Well, you could argue the first guy who picked up a club and used it to bash his social rival's skull in was a serial killer.

  2. Gilles de Retz (a Frenchman in the early 15th century) who killed anywhere between 80 and 200 victims. Records are obviously vague. One of the first English people was a woman Mary Ann Cotton who killed a mere 20 people, including several husbands and lovers, in the early 19th century.

  3. Jack the Ripper.

  4. I agree with the person above me.  Jack the Ripper.

    Cute, cuddly guy.

  5. Giles de Rais?

  6. Jack the Ripper. seems to of had some serious issues with women
