Who is going to be the MVP in baseball

Question

Tell me who the MVP is with a reason. Prove that that player is the MVP.I think A-Rod should be the MVP because he has 22 home runs and 60 plus RBI. That may not seem like a lot, but u got to remember he missed 3 plus weeks of the season with a injury. And since thats A-Rod were talking about he could have hit 10 homeruns and driven in 20 plus RBI. Like he did last April. So he should be the MVP. Tell me who u think is the MVP.

There is not an MLB MVP award, they award one player from each league.

AL:  Josh Hamilton

He is on pace for .304 38hr and 158rbi

NL: Until he went homerless in the whole month of July I would have said Lance Berkman, but now I am going with Handley Ramirez

He is having a better year than Jimmy Rollins had last year, but his low RBI total migh hurt him in the voting.

there really is no arguement against Josh Hamilton in the AL.

in the NL it's a lot closer. i'll get a ton of thumbs down for this one, but when you really analyze how "valueable" a player is to their team, i'd give it to jose reyes. a stat of the day for everyone: the mets are 41-14 in games that reyes scores a run. that's pretty darn valueable.

Carlos Quentin should be MVP because he came out of nowhere and hit 28 homeruns, 83 RBIs, and has a 279 batting average. This guy is practically a rookie and is leading a team to victory.

Josh Hamilton in the American League because he has helped the Rangers to a winning record, already has 104 RBIs, and is on pace to have over 160 RBIs. You can't give the MVP to A-Rod just because he COULD have hit over ten more home runs. In the N.L. I think it is Albert Pujols, he is hitting over .350.

He has 28 HR and 83 RBI's, A-Rod won't win it because they look at what you did this season, not what you did for missing 3 weeks, thats like someone of bench hitting 10 hr in 10 games and have 20 rbi's and winning it, not gonna happen.
