  1. Mark Hammett must be seen as one of the favourites, local boy, assistant coach to Deans, he is part of the Crusaders

inner sanctum, who has come through as a player and now as a Coach.

However my overseas choice would be Vern Cotter, now coaching French Club Clermont, former assistant to Deans

during the Crusaders golden period in the early 2000s.

This is a plum coaching job for arguably the best super/ club Rugby team in the world.

  2. Yeah Mark Hammett will probably take over...but what a loss Robbie Deans will be! Im still pretty gutted he's going to aussie. dont get me wrong, Grahame Henry has done a great job with the All blacks (ignoring what happened last year :P), its just gonna be sad to see Robbie Deans go.

  3. Colin Cooper from the Hurricanes, the NZRU will give him this prestigous post to keep him in NZ. Otherwise should be Mark Hammett
