Who is going to win the Breeders Cup Classic?

I LIKE STREET SENSE HE'S MADE ME ALOT OF MONEY THIS YEAR, BUT LAWYER RON HAS BEEN A MONSTER LATELY. ANYONE HAVE SOME INPUT?

Street Sense is awesome! Lawyer Ron is pretty good though too! Tough competition from Curlin! Curlin wasn't really in the race in the Haskell, but he can show a lot more!

Street Sense has definitely shown alot of heart in close races. Lawyer Ron has looked AWESOME the last two times out. But one thats not getting talked about thats been running great lately is Any Given Saturday. Thats my pick !

I'm gonna say Street Sense will win.  Lawyer Ron has been quite impressive lately while I think Street Sense has been taking it pretty slowly.  He took that long break after the Preakness, came back, prepped for the Travers, won the Travers, he's prepping for the Classic, then he's gonna run the Classic.  I don't think any of his races have really been too grueling...  he did have that stretch duel with Grasshopper but I don't think it was too hard for him.  Lawyer Ron has been facing pretty tough competition and will again this weekend... while Street Sense faces a small field including Hard Spun in a race that I honestly don't think the Street Sense camp cares to win, Lawyer Ron is running a big race against a good size field including Political Force and Curlin.  Lawyer Ron set a record in his last race and this weekend's race will require another strong run.  It's true that Street Sense hasn't faced older horses yet, but I don't think he could care less about who he is running against.  I think the BC Classic will come down to who has the most run left in the stretch and I think Street Sense has better closing speed than Lawyer Ron.  If it comes down to the two of them, I see Street Sense overtaking Lawyer Ron for at least a half length win.

Based on data right now, I think Lawyer Ron will win. Street Sense lost the Preakness by a nose to Curlin and he nearly lost the Travers to Grasshopper. The 4 year old Lawyer Ron has more experience than the 3 year old Street Sense and has been winning by wider margins more consistently. A lot can change in 4 weeks but right now I'd say Lawyer Ron.

I'll be waiting for the entries before I make any decisions.  It is a shame that Manduro was injured in the Prix Foy as he was being aimed at the Classic, and would have given your horses a run for their money.

I hear the George Washington may run in the Classic again this year.  He acted fine on the dirt last year and simply didn't see out the trip.  He's shown this year that he needs further and may well spring a surprise.
