  1. i hope south africa

  2. Not Wales..! :-)

  3. New Zealand looks like the stronger team at the moment, but I am crossing my fingers for South Africa. Hey, the world is full of surprises!!

  4. USA

  5. First Guess is New Zealand

Second guess if the All Blacks choke again would be either Australia or South Africa

  6. Australia, if not All Blacks or possibly Springboks !

  7. Australia, New Zealand or South Africa

  8. South Africa

  9. 'Ikale Tahi or The United States he!heeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. The All Blacks (New Zeland) will probably win the rugby world cup and they are in good form, but Australia have quite a good chance too.

  11. New Zealand. The teams with the best chance of beating them are France, Australia and South Africa.

  12. Most probably the All Blacks if they can cut their chocking problem which they have seemed have inherited since the their WC win in 1987.

The Wallabies and the Springboks too stand a good chance of being their too.

Well, don't think the cup will be staying north of the border again this time around. Nothing suggests a happening like that, allthough teams like England and especially France are capable of major upsets. After all France are playing at home. That might or might not count for some thing. Their footballers managed to topple the Brazilians when they had the FIFA WC in 1998.

    Who knows!

  13. New Zealand are clear favourites, even after a little blip in the tri nations. South Africa stand a great chance, England will make at least the semis, dont disregard france! The dark horses will be Black Beauty and Red Rum!

  14. Pakistan

  15. Lets be realistic - it will be a Southern hemisphere team, we aren't going to tolerate any English luck again. I think South Africa-New Zealand final, with SA winning in the last minute.

  16. New Zealand are rightly favorites but I honestly believe they aren't going to win.  South Africa or Ireland if they can keep their best players fit.

  17. um....

    new zealand

    if not

    australia

  18. dms_paintball, I don't know where you get your information from, but it's WAAAAAY off the mark. (BTW, a rugby team is a squad, not a "roster"). Your answer is the biggest load of cr@p I've ever had the mis-fortune to read on here!!! I wish you Yanks would stop posting answers like you know what you're talking about, when it's quite obvious to real rugby supporters that you haven't got a clue!!!

England's team is nothing like it was 4 years ago. There'd be no more than a handful of players from their 2003 squad playing this time around. You've also confused Martin Johnson & Martin Corry. They don't stand a chance of getting past the quarter finals.

Darren C, you have no idea either. Look at the draw for the RWC, England will meet Australia in a quarter final (if they even get that far). How can you possibly say they'll at least make the semi's??

Australia to beat Sth Africa in the final is my tip......

  19. Safe bet is the All Blacks, but depends on performance in the knock outs as always it is down to injuries, performance and opponents.

  20. England has a decent chance at a repeat.

With a new Captain, it will be difficult to follow up on the excellence of Martin Corry, however, their roster has changed little from its former world cup winning team.

Australia, who were runners-up to England at the last world cup, still have a dangerous roster, and New Zealand (the odds-on favourite) have a weaker roster than once thought.

South Africa remains potent, dangerous, and poised to make a title run.

However, it will most likely be England repeating, since no other team has really stepped up to the plate of late to challenge Englands reign as world champions.

  21. your sister

  22. new zealand

  23. new zealand, their backs are just too good... quick, good hands, big, strong

england havnt hit any type of consistent form recently so why should the world cup be any different?

australia i think have a good chance though

  24. France will win it as its their home ground & they also won the Six Nation's Championships this year.

France winning it in the last minute to win the Six Nations was something that is worth to mention.

  25. all blacks
