Who is going to win the world cup?

i think the all black, but england and france can do something great..

Realistically there is only four

1.All Blacks (best in the world but have a habit of choking)

2. S.Africa (have the potential)

3. Australia (plenty of world cup expierence)

4. France (home nation, but savage pressure from the public)

England dont have a chance, they will jsut have an  easy run through the pool stages and will make the quarter finals without a problem.  But if Ireland can top Pool D then anything can happen

i hope that italy wins the first match and comes to the quarters...but i think that the world champions will be new zealand or burkina faso...

Realistically, there are only four teams that can win the World Cup: The All Blacks, the Springboks, the Wallabies and the French.

However, the All Blacks are going to choke as usual and will most definitely not win the WC. Afterwards, they will claim that a French chef known as "Pierre" gave them food poisoning after they dined on frog legs the night before.

The Aussies will do well, but will not win either. Towards the later stages of the WC, Georgie Gregan will require crutches to play since his old legs will give in, Stephan Larkham will be begging for his asthma pump and the entire Wallaby front row will have broken backs.

The French will play wonderful rugby, but they too will not win the WC. After cruising to the semi-finals, they will sweep the home nation's citizens off their feet. After a massive party where countless bottles of red wine will be consumed, the French will turn up to the game completely drunk. Although it will make for entertaining viewing - especially in line-out lifting, the French will get a hiding. Sacre Bleu.

That leaves us with the one true winner: the Springboks

You are the first person i have heard say England have a chance! don't get me wrong i wish they could win but short of a miracle i think it will be NZ or France lets hope it is not France

The All Blacks, Im not saying this because I'm a New Zealander but because they are the best team in the world. Over the past couple of years they have beaten all the top teams even the current world champs England.

I would love to see the All Blacks win the World Cup =)

  

But I am also aware that the Wallabies and Springboks are not push overs and are very strong contenders as well.  But then again Argentina are a passionate team and can also cause an upset.  And even though France lost against the Pumas, I think they will build strength from that loss, they may start to build their momentum through the tournament and may even go and win their 1st World Cup.

I am looking forward to watching all the other teams play as well, and hoping there are some upsets from Samoa, Fiji and Tonga against the strong contenders.
