    Usually, she messes up people's wishes, but for some reason, she totally helped out Pygmalion with the Galatea situation.

    Maybe she figured his life was bad enough already, in love with a statue, and she took pity on him.

    Occasionally, love is kind.

  3. It was Pygmalion who fell in love with his life-like creation. It was sort of like humping a manikinn after a while with him and his work of art. Aphrodite brought the statue to life and 9 months later they had a child.
