  1. Too be honest, I am a little confused at the moment to be completely happy Farnsworth isn't a Yankee. My dad called me about 15 minutes ago and I didn't even believe him at first lol. I had to look it up to make sure it was true.

We did need a catcher. Posada is going to be out the whole season and Pudge will be a good replacement. And while Farnsworth was performing well this season, he still made me cringe so I wont be shedding too many tears over this.

I kind of don't understand what the Tigers were thinking. It doesn't seem like a very straight trade to me. But whatever the Yanks got the better end of the deal.

  2. dude wow, he was actually starting to get good. He was giving up 1 hit in 35 innings. Does he still suck. Still the trade was good for the yanks

  3. HIP HIP JORGE!!! I am so glad he is gone...

  4. Farnsworth was pitching well. He has aboslutely stunk up the joint in the past, but his pitching this year is one of the big reasons the Yankees were able to add Joba to the starting rotation.

  5. Even though Pudge isn't what he once used to be, I'm pretty sure everyone is glad Farsnworth is gone. I also feel that Detroit got ripped off, heh. They could have traded like Marcus Thames to the Giants for Jack Taschner who is much better than Farnsworth, yet they didn't. Wow.

  6. All of them should be on their knees thanking the higher beings.

I am not happy! I dont really understand why people would be happy THIS YEAR....last year i would be thrilled....this year he has been an efficient pitcher and has a 3.65 ERA

The bullpen will be a little worse now but Pudge was needed.

I broke it to you first! Lol!

  8. i'm not a yankee fan, but is detroit serious?! who's going to be their catcher now? what were they thinking

wow.. good for the yankees though

  9. I wish he wasn't on any team! His attitude is Bad!

  10. I am betting that most Yankee fans are happy as well as several guys from the team as well.

  11. i am i can actually start to like him again

  12. I'm Sure ALL Yankee fans are excited if not ecstatic.

    Jack

  13. Lol, this reminded me of when the Lakers got Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown. The Yanks got a steal with this trade.

  14. Every single Yankees fan should be happy Farnsworth is gone.

    Hallelujah!!

Farnsworth is NOT a good pitcher. He hit a hot streak and he'll start losing in due time.

  15. i'm glad.

i never liked farnsworth he has an attitude problem.

    he was still good though.

but pudgey rodriguez will help us on our quest to the playoffs.

but i do still wonder why the Tigers would do this lol

  16. definitely i am so happy =D

  17. I think it was a smart move considering Posada could be gone for the remainder of the season.

He will probably bat 7 or 8 in the lineup and is a steal for the yanks who only had to give up a dumpy middle reliever in Farnsworth

i'm not a yankee fan, but they obviously won this trade

  18. They made a great move by getting Pudge. The Tigers, however, made one of the dumbest trades I've ever seen. Not because they knew Pudge would leave and traded him, but because they got a terrible pitcher in Farnsie and could've gotten better.
