  1. not me! he wont watch it anyways.

  2. My 10yo wants to stay up to watch it which is fine but hes now lost interest and playing his Nintendo DS!

Think i'll send him to sleep!

My 5yo wanted to stay up but fell asleep on the couch at 9.30..lol

  3. Our three kids are still up, but only because I had to look after my neice and nephew all afternoon today and they have only just left, so I am running way behind schedule in the feed, bath and bed area.

They are a bit young to be into it anyway. Its on in 1/2 an hour, so they may check it out.

  4. Yeah, of course.

I wont force them to stay up, obviously the 3yr old is going to bed.

Scarlett who is 6 will probably fall alseep.

    But we'll see :)

EDIT: Its now 11.15pm. All three girls have been asleep.

Ava for 1 hr, Scar for about 40 minutes, and Millie for about a half hour.

Its rather boring i must say. But the beginning was amazing.

  5. It starts at 7 p.m. here.  So that's not as late as you!

  6. yes and it is 6:57 A.M. here in the U.S.A. and it starts at 8:00 A.M.

  7. It starts at 12:45 here in England. I'm gonna watch it. I don't have any children though, and my parents are at work, and I don't have any siblings. So, it's just me and the dog watching it this afternoon. I love opening ceremony's. My favorite part!!

    Oh, I'm 16.

Me and the dog will have a ball I'm sure...

  8. Same im in asutralia too!

well my 14 year old sister was going to, but she has a friend over so i guess she wont be now and then the other 4 are in bed already!

    :)

  9. My kids are all sound asleep, on the couch. We were going to let them, but my kids usually go to bed rather early - They don't stop all day.

We are taping it tonight - So they will watch it when I get in from milking at about 9am tomorrow.

  10. here in australia it starts 9:20 dad said i can watch till 11 pm in ends at 12:20 tho and im 13

  11. We are on the east coast, USA, and will be watching the Opening Ceremony!

  12. My parents aren't letting us kids stay up. I'm in Australia too and the teams don't start coming out till at least midnight and due to the order of the Chinese alphabet, Australia is towards the end. Actually I think my parents WOULD let me stay up but my little brother gets cranky when he gets no sleep, they're gonna tape it for him. Plus I have a big day tomorrow, so I'm going to bed. Hope your kids enjoy it. Judging by my clock they've only got 8 more minutes to wait.

  13. It's on at about 6:30 PM here (re-broadcasted) and we're making it a family event!  We love the Olympics!

  14. Does anybody know if it's live for everyone? I live on the west coast and it starts at 8:30 on MSNBC.

  15. im in australia as well and my kids are watching it

  16. I think it's really important and we're all going to watch it this afternoon. Luckily it starts at 12.45 here in the UK.

  17. Nope...me neither..too late!  Watch the replay.

  18. We're in Canada, and we'll watch the replay of it this evening - Friday evening. I was up around 4 this morning, and watched a bit of the end of the parade of nations, though.

  19. well, im the kid in this case and my parents are letting me watch it all the way thru unless i fall asleep, then theyll just leave me be.

in cranny (canberra) its starting at 9 i think?? or 9:30..... oh, and im 12 turning 13 at the beginning of next month.

    hope it helps!!

    and go AUSTRALIA!! WOO!!!!!!!

  20. It starts at 7:30 tonight here on the east coast of the United States...or at least that's what NBC (one of our major news networks) is saying. So yes, I'll watch it (not at home though. Tonight is my uncle's surprise 50th birthday party, so we'll be over there).

summer (user below me), no, it's not live. The opening ceremonies already happened, but NBC isn't showing it until tonight. They have exclusive rights to televise the Olympics and they're putting it in prime time tonight. I wish it was live for everyone...
