If I went to a fair and there was a booth that was run by a local spa and they were promoting themselves by

having massage therapists do demonstrations and I got badly injured by the massage therapist, who is responsible and to be held libel for the injury and costs involved? By the way, the massage therapist quit working at the spa soon after this incident.I went to the spa and they just brushed me off. I am in pain and want to know what my rights are here so that I can deal with it from an informed position. Thank You

  1. You're best bit is to post the same question under 'law and ethics' category.

    Politics & Government - -> Law & Ethics

    You will be able to get a more informed reply, by people expert on the situation.

    First thing obviously is to go see your doctor, and get all the tests done, and get a report. Then you have to go see an attorney who deals with these kind of situations, and just follow his/her advice.

    As soon spa gets a letter from your attorney they will fall back in line, suddenly dying to help you.

  2. Go to a doctor to substantiate your medical condition before seeking legal assistance.

  3. Yes,you can sue this person,if thats what you asking.This person is responsible for your injury,and quitting the job makes it worse on his or her's behalf.Find out this person's name,and do some background history on him or her.It is as good as a start as possible,so even if you can't find any info on this person,keep trying because EVERYONE has a history online.If you can't then hire an investigator and have him gather u enough info to sue or charge this person.

  4. The local spa is responsible but you have to have proof of when and where it happened

  5. the massager

  6. You have been to the doctor and been diagnosed with a condition?  You can prove it stemmed from this incident and have witnesses?

    See an attorney.  Otherwise you should consider getting over trying to exact cash from them.

  7. I don't understand but I'm sure someone will help you soon

  8. Well, since you can't sue without a lawyer (what, are you nuts?) let the lawyer decide. By the way, the word is "liable." "Libel" is to defame someone.
