On the chance that you meant "kin" as in ancestry.. here is one guide to starting research.

Among other things.. people don't know what country need information from.  Kilt suggests Scotland, but that's just a flip of the coin.  Not every Scottish family has a kilt, by the way.

I do see many persons with the surname Lucy in the 1930 US census.. but nothing to tell me that they are related to you.
