  1. People who would attempt to actually answer this.

  2. This does not make sense.

    Obama is American.

  3. Thats the stupidist question from the gruoup of stupid peop;e gallery since bush asked "Are you better off" Tototas are built in america and obama supporters are American.  Not being For your guy is not anti -american, it is anti -your guy.

  4. First off, a Toyota buyer isn't anti-American. In fact most Toyotas sold here are built here- which brings us more jobs at a time when our so called "American" brands like GM, Ford, Chrysler, and other major U.S. companies are shipping our jobs overseas to lower production costs. That's why unemployment is so high. If buying a product from a company that doesn't want us working for them is considered supporting America, then I'd rather be on the other end. Luckily, that's not the case. Also, you can rip into Obama supporters all you want, but McCain is nearly as liberal as Obama- just on different issues. There aren't any real conservtives running anyway. On the ballot, I will be voting for a real conservative. His name Ron Paul. He might have dropped out of the race, but he is the most conservative of all of them. Unfortunately, his dropping out has left a huge proportion of our 20 somethings back to non-votership. He is actually an Independent, but he ran as a Republican because the average feeble-minded American voter still thinks it's a two party race between Democrats and Republicans.  History repeats itself once again. Americans love cheap thought. They generally are attracted to liars. Look at every primary candidate for the last 20 years. the proof is there. The difference between the Democrats and Republicans is that Democrats are more flambouyant about their messed up opinions. Take it for what it's worth, but my vote won't leave me partly accountable for the massive s***w ups Obama or McCain are going to be.

In response to Toledojeeps ranting, we're right. Most of the cars branding Toyota on them are currently made in the U.S. If you include Lexus, then yes, over half are off shore. The most popular models, the Camry, Corolla, Avalon, Sienna, Highlander, Tundra, Sequoia, and the Tacoma are all made here- not just assembled here; over 85% of the parts are made here. They are even classified as domestic cars by the Federal government. That means that the only cars with the Toyota name that aren't made in the USA are the Yaris, the Prius, the 4 Runner, and the Landcruiser. Now out of these, the only volume sellers are the Yaris and the Prius. All of the made in America models are top sellers in their segments.

Chrysler expanding? You have to be kidding. Are you implying the the PT Cruiser and Dodge Rams that are made in Mexico are going to come to a halt? Rams maybe because truck sales are almost nil meaning they'll just stick with production of the ones built here. They are so horrible that even Daimler sold them and they are discontinuing the Magnum and a few other cars after this year to cut costs. What I'm telling you is a fact, not a possibility, or hearsay. Does that sound like a company that will expand their plants? GM and Ford are discussing and have closed plants. The information IS out there. You have a computer. See for yourself.

There's a reason a car company has to give a lifetime warranty on their engines and trannies and it's not a good one. Good quality cars don't need high warranties to make them attractive to sellers. Their quality speaks for them. The warranty sucks anyway because it's non-transferrable. You might love Jeep but it's not the great Willy's or AM Jeep of the past. I've personally owned two Wranglers (1991 Wrangler Renegade and a 1998 Sahara)and have had the opportunity to firsthand experience what Mopar did to it. By the way, what is the most common transmissions installed from the factory in a Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0 liter engine? The venerable, TOYOTA 4Runner transmission. Enough said.

  5. Terrance B and Bill S are wrong,Toyota imports over half of the vehicles that it sells in the US.I can give you a list of over 80 vehicles built in the US by GM,Ford and Chrysler. As for jobs going overseas,GM is expanding Toledo,OH transmission plant and will build a new vehcile in OH.Ford is expanding a Detroit plant while Chrysler is expanding Jefferson plant with 1.8 billion dollar investment and is moving all Dodge Ram production to Detroit.

Yes,Chrysler is expanding the Jefferson Ave plant and all Dodge Ram production is moving to Detroit so the new Nissan trucks can be built in Mexico by Chrysler. No Dodge Ram production is far from nil, expected to build near 200,000 units this year as people still need trucks.GM annouced a new vehicle will be built in Ohio and Ford to add 3rd shift at Focus plant and going to build another small car in Detroit.Yes,all this info is available on the internet but you are focused on the negative.

This isn't hearsay or rumor but has all been in the news for the past couple of weeks.Yes the Detroit 3 are closing some plants as they shift production from SUV's and trucks to smaller cars.

I don't know what you mean about the Jeep transmission, are you talking about the Aisin-Warner AW-4,a variation of it was used on some Toyota RWD vehicles. It isn't built by Toyota,NUFF SAID.

  6. get a grip

  7. This HAS to be the most idiotic question I have ever seen asked on Answers!  I thought the question about whether ice cream comes out as pee or p**p was stupid.  This question makes that question look downright genius!

  8. Obama is so anti-american its not funny.  He's completely anti-second amendment which puts me 100% against anything he says or does.

Go look at a 2007 or newer Toyota Tundra and tell us where its built.  Guess what it says Built in USA right on the driver's side door stickers.

Guess where Ford, Dodge, and GM build their vehicles, yep Mexico, Japan, Korea, some parts even come from China.  No American about the so called "Big 3".  My 2006 Chevy Cobalt had Made in Japan, Italy, Mexico, and a few parts I found that had Made In China on them.  Needless to say that car didn't even last 15,000 miles before the transmission failed do to terrible construction i.e. missing parts.

Thank you, Terrence B.  you pretty much said what I was saying also.  These so called American companies that have all of their stuff shipped overseas needs to stop.  They should be taxed heavily for doing so.  These labor unions are the biggest cause of this problem.  The unions have ran most of the manufacturing out of the US.

  9. You sound ignorant, get a freakin life dude!

  10. only you

  11. have to with husain supporters
