Who is more deserving of the starting PG spot for Team USA?

Jason Kidd with the experience

Chris Paul with the defensive pressure and vision

Deron Williams with the athleticism and size

I woudln't count Dwayne for the PG spot seeing he's more of shooting gaurd.

Jason Kidd is old put in the new kid Chris Paul he is amazing he will scoere and he can pass he is a complete plyer I am not taking anything away from Kidd it,s just time to move on and let someone else run the show

Kidd for experience. They need it. Kidd is what you call a glue player. His job is to juggle all the talent on team USA. He keeps the chemistry flowing. Besides, everyone knows Kidd's going to be passing, which is a good thing. In the three exhibition games so far, Kidd's scored a whopping five points on two for two shooting. D-Will and CP3 will be looking to score too, which can create some confusion at times. Team USA could win with any of those three starting, but Kidd is the best option. By the way, Coach K has already said Kidd will be starting.

I don't see how they'd play at a faster pace with CP3. All three points guards go pretty fast. Paul can keep up with fast guards, but big international guards would post him in an instant. So the defense between Paul and Kidd evens out.

I Would have to say chris paul. Chris is more of a PG then Deron ,Deron is more of a SG to me, he lyks shooting and driving more then chris. Not to say that's not good but where talking about PG only so ima Go with Chris. And about Jkidd he is just to old.

I think it should be Kidd, hes very experienced and is out there to "run the show". I love CP3's game also, hes very entertaining to watch but I think to be on the safe side Kidd knows international ball a bit more that CP3. CP3 is so young that by next Olympics hes gonna be the new J Kidd running the show. Kidd is barely ever going to shoot the ball, they don't need him to score, much like in the regular season. Team USA's guard situation is great, even Deron Williams has looked amazing so far, he so tough and finishes great around the basket. USA is safe when it comes to the guards, if Kidd is having issues in one game they got CP3 and Deron to back him up.

Jason kidd.. he's a leader of the USA basketball team.. Deron and Paul split minutes after that because they're both soo good. haha I don't know why the other guy who responded said that deron should be a SG because that wouldn't work. He's a pure solid PG
