  1. a parent.........they mold & teach respect, manners & about life in general. The teacher is prepare for schooling . Even if it is playbased learning, which preschool should be, & if the parent has not done/or doing their job the child will be disruptive & taking away valuable learning time from other kiddies, which is totally unfair to those that do the right thing..

  2. This is a complex question.  The parent is ALWAYS the child's first teacher, and the home environment is the one the child is most likely to model him/herself after.  Sometimes the home environment is not ideal.  The parent may like parenting skills, probably because good parenting and life skills were not modeled for them.  In this case, the teacher may be able to have a strong positive influence on the child, so never under-estimate the importance of a good teacher.  However, the child is always most likely to follow the influence of the home environment, so it takes a very strong, very high quality school environment to have some positive influence in the child's life.

  3. of course parent(s).......  well first of all who spends the most time with your preschooler?....and who made your preschooler?....answer these Q's to yourself and then think about it .......   goodluck

  4. The parents are the first and foremost important people in a child's life from birth into adulthood.

  5. it should be the parents but sadly many kids only get the attn they need when they are at daycare/preschool teachers are there to promote learning but it should truely lie with the parents that is who the kids spend the majority of their time with when i take my son to the park or when we go fishing i always try to find ways to get him to spell or talk about different things that we see to extend the learning aspect so that he will see learning as a good thing rather than something that he has to do

  6. neither.  a playmate is

  7. a parent, hands down.  teachers are important too but nothing replaces the importance of parents in every aspect of a child's life.

  8. god knows!!!!!!!!

  9. Hello,

First of all I appreciate ur question, coming to the point

the more the kids grow the more they get Self intellectual,to be honest both the Parents andthe teacher are important because if the teacher teaches him to be honest and well behaved and if its Vice-versa in the home its not a good sign in that childs life, every thing is vain.

So both are important in a preschoolers life

  10. Both are equally important but the the teacher is giving the golden key to turn the vista of knowledge .So the importance of teacher is unique .

  11. hey surly mom and dad are more important as they give more important to us and us only. the teachers always don't give importance only for  you or me but all the students .expect for some

  12. Both are important the parents and the teachers. Foundation of character for any kid start at that age only. In Bible a prover is there 'Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it ,' Proverbs 22.6. A child's path we have to fix at that age only. That is the  duty of the parents and teachers.

  13. This is a good question for teachers who are parents and grandparents.

I think parents are the most important, they have the most influence and the first influence. We hope that it is a positive and loving relationship that is developed right away. The child learns his likes, dislikes, behavior (positive or negative) including manners, respect for self as well as others and how to love from his parents. Teachers can add to this in positive reinforcement and interaction with him and all the children in the classroom. All adults are models for preschoolers and this is the time when they really want to please and be accepted by these adults.

  14. ofcorz parent...i had a debate on dis and my team won...evn if the teacher is soo gud , the students can't be very gud but if the parents mould their children's behavior the children turn out to be gud citizens

  15. This was an excellent question and one not answered with one word replies.

Everyone who comes in contact with a child of this age is important because they are going to play a factor in the molding of this child's life. The parents play the PRIMARY role and are responsible for the correct development of the child's personality. After that ,the teacher's responsibility is to allow the child the correct amount of time to interact  with peers and be there to reinforce good habits , hopefully instilled but the parents and to gently correct them if not.It is also important to begin to introduce learning skills in the children at this vulnerable age.

Playmates are important but they will inner act spontaneously, and once again,it will the responsibility of the adults tending to the children's needs at that particular time  to make sure things are running smoothly.

  16. I believe a teacher helps a child discover and develop his or her talents.  A parent helps develop the person that child will eventually grow into.  The foundation of the parenting a child receives is what the teacher has to work with to mold those talents.  If not for the parent, the person the child comes into the school being would be negligent.  As it does not matter what talents a person has if they do not have morals, commitment, empathy, respect, honor, decency and other humanistic qualities that makes a complete person.  It is the parents and to a degree the extended family that all these qualities are derived from.  As the child becomes older it is necessary for a teacher to help this person mold their talents hopefully for the benefit of our society.

  17. absolutely without a doubt the parents - they are the child's first teacher.  Plus, the teacher only has them a few hours a day, possibly not even every day where the parent has them every day.  Parents have the biggest influence.  Teachers can not make up for a lack of a  parent's love -they can try, but they can't be their real parent.
