Who is more romantic, women or men?

As hard as this is to believe, men are. They fall hard and fast and no, I haven't gone to the website to check out the answer.

It all depends on the individual, I think socially men tend to be encouraged to do the big romantic gestures like whisking her away on a romantic trip, going to a posh restraunt, flowers, jewellery. And women tend to do the more creative romantic displays like organising a picnic, or writing a love letter etc.

But it all depends on your imagination :-) My hubby spoils me with presents, gifts, massages, surprises while I tend to do things like havea tattoo with his name on as a surpise, or write him a book of the 'Love is' type cartoons or surprise him with a 3 course dinner when he comes in from work.

I'd think it would depend on the individual, some men are looking for romance, and work to achieve it, some women aren't and avoid it, the reverse is also true.  People are too diverse and varied for that kind of generalization.

I'll say it again: This kind of thing depends much more on the individual than on the gender.

Also, different people see different actions as romantic.

Well men are the ones who are expected to be romantic so I would assume they are.

I am a man and my experience is men are.

I`ve been married for 36 years to the same women. My real first romantic experience with my girlfriend now wife.One full moon evening we went for a drive she was a beautiful bronzed 18 year old with long dark hair. Dressed in jeans and a low cut blouse.

We ended up on a dead end road. We sat there and talked in the moon light.

Then suddenly she opened the car door and jumped out. She then jumped up on my hood and took her cloths off and underneath was this beautiful yellow golden bikini and bronze body,  standing in front of the full moon.The golden moon light fell on ,and high lighted all her most wonderful curves. In the most sensual voice She said well what do you think. I said I do.

After 40 years of bliss with this women. I can still see this image when I close my eyes.

I don't think either gender is more romantic because people have different ideas about what romance is.

men you are most likely to see a man serenading than a woman and we just are more romantic because we like to use like "hot and hardcore" as well as that was so s**y....
