Definately the Prime Minister.  No-one really cares about the Governor General.

Prime Minister.

The Governor General only appears at official Head of State engagements and charity functions (as the Queen would do were she here).   He is rarely seen in the Media compared to the Prime Minister.  Most Australians would likely have difficulty knowing who the current Governor General actually is.

The GG is apparently someone called Mike Jeffries, of whom very little is heard.  Our PM, the Kruddster, is heard from all the time.
