Leo's they can get hot tempered very easily or if you push them to much. Same as Aries are hot tempered and don't take insolence easily.

I never knew that Cancer get in a fight but they are a friend of mine who's a Cancer got in a fight couple of times.

Leo doesn't mind a good argument especially when their right, but they will back down from a fight/argument if they just don't want to be bothered or think it's not worth it.

(Capricorn)

Capricorn will back down if they feel the need to also. Taurus definitely likes to argue and prove their point so I could see Capricorn backing down before a Taurus would.

(Cancer)

It takes a lot to push a Cancer to the point where they want to fight/argue. Cancer doesn't mind backing down and even prefers to do so.

(Libra)

Libra will absolutely back down before an Aquarius. Libra's are generally laid back and don't like to argue/fight. But, don't let that fool you either. Get on a Libra's bad side and you will see the other side of him/her come out. Aquarius is a know it all so their going to tell you like it is whether you want it or not.

Scorpios, Tauruses and Aries would never back down from a fight.  They are POWERFUL and always have to be right.  Cancer's and Libra's always will because they like peace and don't like fighting.  Leo's will have a hard time backing away but in they will eventually by saying some huge, dramatic speech, and then running off.

they may be short tempered, but often waste their time on getting mad at everything, and usually their moodiness is due to insecurity. they over react and waste their time getting angry over getting mud on their shirt while there

In reality:

Leo (b/c leo knows that when he/she backs down, aries will be happy, feel like a winner, and sickeningly fawn all over leo--and that is what leo really wants)

Taurus (b/c taurus will not mind giving up the argument, to keep happy cappy, so that he/she can continue to sit back while cappy runs the show--bills, car repairs, and organizing)

Cancer (b/c most cancers, especially the females, like to be dominated--period)

Aquarius (aqua is just as smart as libra, if not more, but libra is the better debater....and will flatter/charm/weedle, gracefully so mind you, the aqua into submission)

Ahh, no, Libra will not back down! I'm a Libra Sun/Rising/Mercury/Mars, and I'll argue with you until you're blue in the face. That being said, Aquarius are also stubborn being fixed signs, and probably won't give up either, but that doesn't mean that I'll back down. I am not laid back, I am a fighter. Take the whole chart into consideration. Grr.
